Over the last two months, we’ve conducted extensive user testing and research with our beta customers to understand how Polarr Next fits in their post-production workflow. With peak season just around the corner, we’re excited to share some new features and quality of life improvements, thanks to feedback from our beta customers.
Mask Strength Slider
Some have expressed the need for a Mask Strength slider similar to Lightroom and it’s now available on Polarr Next. With the Mask Strength Slider, you are able to adjust the intensity of your masked edits for a smoother look.
Option to Export in .PSD
Many have requested additional retouching tools similar to those in Lightroom. While our team works on developing these tools, we’ve added the option to export your edited images as .PSD files. This is a great option if you’d like to move your images into Photoshop for additional retouching.
Quality of Life Improvements (Masking, Healing, Shortcuts)
Based on our extensive research with beta customers, we’ve made substantial updates in masking, healing UX, keyboard shortcuts, buttons and other improvements that will reduce the confusion when training your AI style.
Some of these improvements include: LUT rendering, quicker rendering speed when using the healing tool, improved our AI learning model for transferable adjustments and onboarding messaging improvements.
